So after watching the last episode of this anime. I would say I’m pretty disappointed in the growth of Thorfinn. His father told him what he thinks is a true warrior and he just ignores it and still tries to kill Asklad which is understandable to me. BUT when Asklad was on his death bed and told Thorfinn “What are u gonna do after u kill me” U would think he would finally calm down right? Nah he still the overly raging sasuke wannabe character that he is and shows no growth. Hell Asklad told him his anger problem AND HE STILL DOESN’T LISTEN yea I’ll give this anime a 7/10, ONLY BECAUSE of Asklad.

Gosh why do people compare Vinland saga,Dororo,etc to Demon slayer?Both are totally different anime and both are good in their own ways.

Really turned off by MC so fixed on getting revenge that he even fell into being the side character. The prologue was epic, and the protagonist is just among the best i could've seen in many story. However, thorfinn being a bitch really is not what you'd call character development. Point is, I've struggled to finish this story and can only say that it's a 'meh' for me.

Vinland saga is a testament that an anime can be better than the manga. The fight scenes and the drama and everything about the manga became a hundred times better as WIT tells the story of Thorfinn in a more compelling narrative as you see him being changed by the war and his vengeance, made better by the amazing animation and Voice Acting.

this is the first anime iv rated a 1/10 because of how unsatisfied i felt when i was done with it i wanted to drop it so much sooner but i don't rate animes i haven't fully watched so i sat through it and hated it even more. on a side note while watching this shit show on 2x speed cause it was ass the outro song hits different on 2x its ass on normal speed tho
